The surge arresters protect the network and their equipment from over-voltages. They are of key importance to improve the quality and reliability of the power supply.

Our VARISIL™ HE surge arresters fulfill the requirements of IEC 60099-4 editions 2009 and 2014.

Optional Accessories
S3D2 option: Insulating bracket and built-in ground lead disconnector

The disconnecting device S3D2 separates automatically from earth the bottom terminal of the failed arresters. It ensures continuity of service. It also provides a visual indication of the failure. The disconnector is not a fault clearing device.
