INGEPAC ™ EF PB is the family of equipment that Ingeteam has designed as SAMU (Stand Alone Merging Unit) and that acquires currents and voltages from conventional transformers (CT and VT), converting them to digital values, transmitting them to the process bus Ethernet network.

The data is published as Multicast Sampled Values (MSV), complying with the IEC 61850- 9-2 or IEC 61869-9 standards.

Additionally, INGEPAC ™ EF PB allows the inclusion of I / O modules that allow the interaction of the station bus IEDs with the primary equipment, thanks to the sending/receiving of GOOSE messages according to the IEC 61850-8-1 standard.
