(PPI) has renewed its long-standing partnership with the Community Welfare Service Lotus Foundation School and Training Center, Inc. through a Php 339,000 donation aimed at skill-building and economic empowerment.

Rather than providing short-term aid, PPI's core strategy centers on educational support and vocational development, equipping community members with practical tools to attain financial independence and build better lives.

A Decade of Community Partnership

PPI's collaboration with the Lotus Foundation spans over ten years and was originally rooted in providing academic scholarships to local youth. Following operational interruptions during the pandemic and the school's reopening in 2022, the facility achieved TESDA accreditation as a recognized Training and Assessment Center in 2023.

This milestone marked a significant evolution in the partnership's community impact. What began as traditional educational assistance has expanded into practical vocational training that provides beneficiaries with marketable skills and immediate income-generating opportunities.

Launching a New Scholarship Program

On August 20, 2026, executives, local leaders, and scholars gathered at the Lotus Foundation facility for an Official Welcome Ceremony and Training Induction Program. The highlight of the event was the launch of PPI's new scholarship grant, which fully covers tuition and training expenses for twenty beneficiaries enrolled in the Bread and Pastry Production (BPP) NC II course.

Working closely with the City Operations Office of Panabo City 4Ps DSWD, beneficiaries were carefully selected from indigent local families to ensure access to quality technical education and skills development opportunities.

Managed by the TVET Department under the guidance of lead trainer Mr. Harold O. Caspe, the intensive hands-on training program is set to officially begin on September 4, 2026.

The welcome event highlighted a shared vision among corporate leaders, non-profit organizations, and government institutions committed to fostering sustainable community development.

Ms. Cristina Inciong, HRD Manager of PPI Pazifik Power, Inc., attended on behalf of President Mr. Wilhelm Hug and emphasized PPI's commitment to continuous workforce empowerment through education and technical-vocational development initiatives.
