Balıkesir Elektromekanik Sanayi Tesisleri A.Ş., founded by the Yırcalı Family in 1966 in Balıkesir. (BEST) was established with domestic capital so that the face is the first high voltage transformer manufacturer in Turkey. Our company, which started its production in its facilities in Balıkesir Heavy Industrial Zone, today serves in Balıkesir Organized Industrial Zone with the investments it has made over the years and its new facilities equipped with high technology.

170.000 m2 of production space and 50,000 MVA and one of Turkey’s leading transformer manufacturers with a production capacity of BEST, more than 50 percent of its production today has become a global company by exporting to over 85 countries. Our company, which serves many areas such as the world’s leading electricity companies, iron and steel producers, oil and gas companies, solar and wind energy projects, increases its export rate every year.

By establishing BEST Elektrik Taahhüt ve Ticaret A.Ş (BETAŞ) in 2010, BEST also stepped into the energy contracting business and started to offer turnkey solution partnerships to its customers. Thus, mainly Turkey and Europe, the Balkans, the Middle East, and North Africa also continues to work in the electrical contracting field strengths.
