The new BAT-C client, featuring industrial protection class IP67, allows the user to set up cost-effective WLAN installations in places where there is no need for high-end devices.
With a radio module that supports both the 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz frequency bands, the rugged design and compact dimensions of the BAT-C make it suitable for use in a wide range of stationary and mobile WLAN applications in industrial environments. Due to its additional E1 approval, it can also be used to set up reliable wireless connections to Ethernet networks from buses and other vehicles.
The BAT-C supports the new IEEE 802.11n transmission standard. Fast roaming permits uninterrupted connections when transferring from one radio cell to another. Further features of this WLAN client are simple configurability via a web interface and a range of management and encryption functions.
