PPI and EXI Collaborative Training Project with IBPAP BPOs and Call Centers

"The Green and Efficient Power Protection Solution Trends for BPOs and Call Centers" was a collaborative project training cum exhibit of PPI and its affiliate company EXI Inc. in cooperation with the IT and Business Process Association of the Philippines (IBPAP) for its member BPOs and Call Centers. The groups earnest efforts to bring to IBPAP members valuable knowledge on power protection solution and innovation as a proactive way to address power and data risks and secure the company’s' assets to ensure that their facility is up and running and that critical services of BPOs and Call Centers are available all the time. With technology advances, the power solutions to be discussed and on exhibit , aids in the reduction of carbon footprints instilled by data center power. The half-day session was held on May 16, 2014 at the F1 Hotel, 32nd Street Bonifacio, High, BGC. Mr. Wilhelm Hug, President of PPI welcomed the 25 participants from 14 IBPAP BPOs and Call Centers. IBPAP, Ms. Geny Marcial, Executive Director for External Affairs and Ms. Indu Badlani External Affairs Associate. Director Marcial gave a response on behalf of IBPAP. EXIs’ very own homegrown Electrical Engineers, Robert Mangrobang and Elmer Vargas presented PPI/EXI products' cutting edge with brief presentations on Heat Efficiency , Losses, Cost Batteries and Monitoring System as diagnostic tools, and Harmonic Filters, Guest presentor Mr. Amer Subhi, Regional Sales Manager, Asia Pacific, Gamatronic Electronic, Industries discussed lengthily UPS development and technology in the last 10 years and the underpinning role of UPS in the industry. The participants fielded questions aimed at improving and expanding their current operations. Interestingly the conceptualization of the seminar included the display of the power solution protection equipment which were brought all the way to the upper level of the venue. The participants had their hands full viewing the latest UPS: Centric and the Power Plus Premium, Automatic Voltage Regulator, Batteries and Battery Monitoring System.
