Royce Hotel in Clark, Pampanga became a hub of learning and collaboration as the 27th IIEE Central Luzon Regional Conference gathered experts and practitioners from across Central Luzon on June 19 to 20, 2026. The conference commenced with an inspiring messages from IIEE National President Engr. Robert U. Mabulay, IIEE Central Luzon Governor Engr. Enrique Y. Gamboa, Guest Speaker Hon. Carmelo B. Lazatin II, and PRC Board of Electrical Engineering Chairman Hon. Adelino V. Garcia Jr., emphasizing the profession’s commitment to excellence, innovation, and nation-building. Day 1 featured a series of insightful technical presentations. Topics included Deployment of the COGS Request Platform and Database Management Portal, Philippine Qualification Framework Updates, NEXT-GEN Healthcare: Transforming Hospitals with Digital Power and Low-Carbon Economy, Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Control (HIRAC) for Electrical Safety, and Republic Act No. 11361 or the Anti-Obstruction of Power Lines Act. Delegates also explored technical exhibits and booths showcasing the latest products, technologies, and solutions from leading industry partners, creating opportunities for learning and engagement. The second day continued with highly relevant discussions designed to equip engineers with current knowledge and best practices. Technical sessions covered Electrical Design for Dwelling Units based on PEC 2017, Electrical Fire Safety, Distribution Impact Study, Curriculum Review for Electrical Engineering, MCDC Updates, Precision Diagnostics through Partial Discharge, Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI 2.0), and Institutional Energy Management Systems. The conference concluded with a meaningful Closing Program highlighted by the National President's Address from Engr. Robert U. Mabulay, recognition of the organizers and volunteers, a keynote message from PELCO I General Manager Allan E. David.
